Corona vaccination campaign for all people over 18 years of age in the country is starting from May 1.
New Delhi. Apollo Hospitals (Apollo HFrom May 1, on behalf of ospitals, will start the application of Covid-19 Vaccination to people in the age group of 18-45 years. Covi shield vaccine will be used for this. The group said in a statement that in view of the importance of Kovid-19 vaccination of the citizens of the country and to reduce the risk of Kovid infection, Apollo Hospital has purchased the Kovid vaccine keeping in mind the government guidelines.

Vaccination drive started on January 16
Removing the restrictions related to corona vaccination, the central government has allowed vaccination of all persons above 18 years of age from 1 May. However, more than a dozen states including Delhi, MP, Chhattisgarh have complained that they do not have the vaccine only so that people of this age group can be vaccinated. Corona vaccination campaign started in the country from 16 January. In the initial phase, there was a campaign to vaccinate healthcare workers and front line workers. Later, the vaccination was started for the elderly over 60 years and for the sick people above 45 years of age. Lastly, the government started vaccination for all people above 45 years of age. However, the states were constantly demanding that the age-old restrictions in vaccination be removed and all adults should be vaccinated.

Vaccine prices have come down
The state governments have also demanded that they should be provided the corona vaccine at a low cost, just like the central government. The Serum Institute of India has reduced the price of its coviciled vaccine from 400 to 300 rupees for the states. Whereas Bharat Biotech has reduced the price of its vaccine Kovaxin from 600 to 400 rupees for the states.
