Production of Sputnik-V in India will start from the month of August. India’s Ambassador to Russia D.B. Venkatesh Verma gave this information on Saturday.
Along with this, he said that by the end of May, more than 3 million doses of Sputnik-V vaccine will be supplied from Russia and in June this number is expected to increase to 5 million. Varma said, there are plans to produce 85 crore doses of vaccine in India at the initial stage.
