In the orders issued on Monday by the Special Secretary of the Health Department of the Delhi Government, the Medical Directors, Medical Superintendents and Directors of the Hospitals have been ordered to the fourth and fifth year students and interns of the Department of AYUSH. At the same time, MBBS students who are fourth and fifth year students and interns, and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) pass doctors, have ordered all these to be appointed in hospitals. At the same time, all these staff will be paid honorarium according to duty hours. According to an order, the honorarium has been fixed at ₹ 1000 for 8 hours duty and ₹ 2000 for those doing 12 hours duty.
Six-month extension has been given to senior and junior resident doctors
Let it be said that earlier, the Health Department has also issued orders to extend the extension to all the Senior Resident and Junior Resident Doctors whose time period of 6 months has expired or is about to happen. An order has already been given to all of them to provide extensions to meet the shortage of manpower.
Order to increase the number of beds in Kovid hospitals
Apart from this, orders have also been issued by the Delhi government to increase the number of beds in Kovid hospitals. On behalf of Delhi Government, Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital, Burari Hospital, Deepchand Bandhu Hospital and Ambedkar Nagar Hospital have been declared fully Kovid Hospitals. At the same time, Deendayal Upadhyay Hospital and Babasaheb Ambedkar Hospital (BSC) Hospital have been declared as Partially Kovid Hospitals.
Orders have also been given to the Medical Directors / Directors of all the Hospitals extended to all these hospitals with immediate effect with beds and ICU beds ventilators and without ventilators.
