The court has sentenced 14 years to the four accused who entered the house and threw acid. Along with this, a fine of 1-1 lakh has also been imposed on all. It has taken a long time of 6 years for the victims to get justice. However, now after getting justice, happiness is visible on his scorched face.
The case pertains to Meerut police station Falavada area. Where on June 29, 2016, in the night, a woman named Sania threw acid on her sister-in-law and sister-in-law along with her lovers. The incident was carried out with complete planning, called the lovers and entered the house and then hatched a plan to run away by pouring acid. Sensation had spread at that time regarding this incident of acid attack, but since then till now the victims were wandering in the hope of justice.
Sheeba could not even get married due to acid attack and till now has spent more than 35 lakhs on her treatment. After 6 years, on Friday, the court took a historic decision in this matter. The court of ADJ 15 Harsh Aggarwal has sentenced 4 people, including woman Sania, to 14 years of imprisonment in this case, terming them as accused. Apart from this, a fine of ₹ 1-1 lakh has also been imposed on all of them. Hearing the court’s verdict, there was relief on the faces of the victims.
