There is also a recipe which you can make at home which is also called Gondpak. If you consume three spoons of it every day during the winter months, then whatever pain you have in your bones will disappear and along with this, migraine and insomnia will also end. To make Gondpak, some ingredients are required which can be bought from the market and you can easily make this recipe at home. Like makhana, gum, ghee, dry fruits like walnuts, cashew nuts, almonds, dry coconut which is also called gadi. Cardamom powder, dry ginger powder, white chilli powder, jaggery and milk. You can make Gondpak recipe with all these ingredients. So let us know how Gondpak is made.
First of all grind the gum coarsely in a mixer. Then put the pan in the pan and after the pan, add the makhana and fry the makhana for two to three minutes, then take it out and keep the makhana in a separate vessel. Then pour ghee in the pan and when the ghee becomes hot, reduce the flame of the gas, add ground gum and fry for some time.
Gum is very beneficial for the body, especially in cold weather. After frying the gum, add milk to it and boil the milk until it curdles. While your milk is hot, grind some dry fruits.
Among the dry fruits, grind walnuts, almonds and cashews coarsely in a mixer, then add makhana to it and grind it. Now when the milk boils till it curdles, add all the dry fruits and ground makhana and fry slowly. Make sure to keep the flame very low. After this, add grated dry coconut and then fry it.
While frying all these things, when the gondpak becomes dark then add jaggery to give it a sweet flavour. You have the option to add ground dates also. After adding jaggery, fry for some time and after some time add dry ginger powder, white chilli powder and cardamom powder and fry for some time. After roasting, your Gondpak recipe will be ready. You can keep it in a glass jar and eat it throughout the winter months.
