Karnataka Congress Crisis: The crisis in Karnataka, the only biggest fort of Congress, has deepened. The conflict between the CM and Deputy CM regarding the post of CM has come to the fore. Party President Mallikarjun Kharge is in Karnataka. Meanwhile, now both these leaders have been summoned in Delhi Darbar. He can come to Delhi this week.
Karnataka Congress Crisis: The issue of leadership in Karnataka has become a new headache for the Congress party. The tussle between state CM Siddaramaiah and his deputy DK Shivakumar is no longer hidden from anyone. Both the leaders are busy in wooing the central leadership of the party. Meanwhile, both of them have met separately with party president Mallikarjun Kharge who reached Bengaluru. On Tuesday, Deputy CM DK Shivakumar was present with Kharge in his car, while on the other hand, CM Siddaramaiah went to his residence and met him. Siddaramaiah wants the central leadership to approve the cabinet expansion, while Shivakumar wants the CM’s chair first citing the secret deal. While Siddaramaiah is insisting on having MLAs with him, DK is insisting on a secret deal.
