Haryana weather update: Cold wave alert has been issued in Haryana for the next 24 hours in Sirsa, Hisar, Fatehabad, Jind, Kaithal, Kurukshetra and Karnal. The cold is intensifying in the state and the minimum temperature has fallen to 3.5 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of cold will continue.
Haryana weather update : Now the weather is clearly visible changing in Haryana, where cold is being witnessed in some parts, while in some districts even today the temperature is normal in the afternoon. But now an increase of 1.4 degrees Celsius has been recorded in the average minimum temperature in Haryana during 24 hours. However, the temperature of the state still remains 1.9 degrees Celsius below normal. According to the Meteorological Department, the lowest temperature recorded in Narnaul last night was 5.6 degrees Celsius, which is the coldest place in the state, and in the afternoon, the maximum temperature of 27.0 degrees Celsius was observed in Palwal district. The temperature in Haryana this morning has been recorded at 10°C. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of cold wave in Sirsa, Hisar, Fatehabad, Jind, Kaithal, Kurukshetra and Karnal in the next 24 hours in Haryana. Due to cold wave, the minimum temperature in Haryana has reached 3.5 degrees.
Dr. Madan Khichad, Head of the Department of Agricultural Meteorology, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, said that the weather in the state of Haryana is generally likely to remain dry till December 5. He said that the night temperature had started falling from December 1, so today i.e. on December 3, the wind speed will increase and the maximum temperature will be 23 °C and the minimum will be 5-9 °C. He told that along with this, the effect of Coldwell will also be visible on December 4, due to which the temperature will fall. The maximum temperature is likely to be 20 °C, minimum 4-8 °C. According to IMD, there will be light cloudy sky with fog on December 5. The maximum temperature can be up to 22 °C and the minimum temperature can be up to 7 °C. On December 6, the night will be cold and cloudy. The maximum temperature can be up to 24 °C, the minimum temperature can be up to 5 °C. Whereas on December 7, there will be more fog and the day temperature can reach 24 °C and 6-8 °C at night. Similarly, there will be partly cloudy and foggy conditions on 8th December. On this day, the maximum temperature can be recorded up to 20-22 °C, minimum temperature up to 7-10 °C. He said that on December 9, there will be more foggy conditions and the wind speed will also increase, due to which the temperature will drop rapidly.
According to the Meteorological Department, the cold may increase further at night due to the north-westerly wind direction. Experts say that there is a possibility of frost in the morning in rural areas of the state, while visibility may be affected due to fog in urban areas. The Meteorological Department has advised citizens to be careful in the morning and night, especially the elderly and children have been appealed to adopt measures to protect themselves from cold.
AQI level has become very bad
According to aqi.in, the amount of pollution is being seen very high in Haryana, where AQI level 280 has been seen in Faridabad district this morning, while AQI level 304 has been seen in Gurugram district. AQI level of 215 has been seen in Ambala district of Haryana, whereas the situation of AQI level has been seen very bad in Delhi this morning. According to the AQI Board, Delhi’s AQI has been recorded at 313 this morning.
