Chhattisgarh Weather Today: The weather patterns are changing rapidly in Chhattisgarh in the last week of November. The Meteorological Department has indicated that within the next two days the night temperature may fall by 1°C to 3°C, due to which the cold will increase further. The weather is going to be dry in the state, while cold wave conditions may occur in the northern parts – Ambikapur, Surguja, Korea and Jashpur. There will be mild sunshine during the day, but the nights and mornings will be chilly. The temperature has started falling in the capital Raipur too and the effect of cold is now being felt.
Temperature expected to drop by 1–3°C in next 48 hours
According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Chhattisgarh is going to fall rapidly. Cold will be felt more during night and morning, while the day temperature will remain almost normal. The department said that after the drop in temperature, the weather is likely to remain stable for the next few days.
Cold wave expected for 3 days in North Chhattisgarh
Cold wave may continue for the next three days in Surguja, Korea, Jashpur and Ambikapur areas. Strong cold winds will blow in these areas and the temperature may be recorded much lower than other districts.
Weather will remain dry in the state, no possibility of rain
At present, due to no major weather system being active, there is no possibility of rain across the state in the coming days. The sky will be clear and the day will be sunny.
Temperature figures: Durg hottest, Ambikapur coldest
In Chhattisgarh state, the highest maximum temperature was recorded in Durg: 31.4°C and the highest minimum temperature was recorded in Ambikapur: 7.5°C. Rainfall figure: Zero (0 cm).

The effect of cold has started being felt in the capital Raipur also. Maximum temperature: about 28°C and
Minimum temperature: Expected to be around 16°C. The Meteorological Department says that at present the sky will remain clear and the night temperature will gradually come down.

In view of the possibility of cold wave in some parts of North Chhattisgarh, people have been advised to exercise caution. Especially the elderly, children and people suffering from health problems have been advised to use warm clothes.
