Himachal Weather Update: In Himachal Pradesh, the weather remained clear in most areas amid the alert of the Meteorological Department. The sky remained light cloudy in many places of the state on Sunday. The weather remained clear in Shimla, while the sky remained light cloudy in Kullu Manali on Sunday. During this period in the plains, dense fog was seen in Bilaspur and light fog was seen in Mandi. The minimum temperature was recorded below 5 degrees Celsius in 7 cities of the state. Whereas in Una the highest maximum temperature was recorded at 24.0 degrees Celsius. Whereas Kukumseri was the coldest city in the state, where the minimum temperature was recorded at minus -4.3 degrees Celsius.
What will be the warning regarding weather in the coming days?
According to Sandeep Sharma, scientist of Meteorological Center, Shimla, a new weak western disturbance is likely to become active in the state from December 17. There is a possibility of dense fog in the plains of the state on 15 and 16 December. During this period, yellow alert of dense fog will continue in the areas around the reservoir of Bhakra Dam in Bilaspur and some areas of Balh area of Mandi. The weather will remain clear in most parts of the state till December 20. Whereas on December 20, there is a possibility of light rain/snowfall at some places in the high mountain areas. Whereas the weather will remain dry in the state during the remaining days of the week. In such a situation, there will be no major change in the minimum temperature in the state in the next 24 hours. After that, there is a possibility of a gradual drop of 2 to 4 degrees Celsius in the state in 2 to 3 days. Whereas during the next 4 to 5 days the maximum temperature is likely to increase by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius.
Minimum temperature reached minus in many areas
In many places of the state the minimum has reached minus. In such a situation, the lowest minimum temperature on Sunday was recorded at minus -4.3 degree Celsius in Kukumseri. Whereas minus -1.6 minimum mercury was recorded in Tabo. Minimum mercury in state capital Shimla was 9.8 degrees, Sundernagar 5.6, Bhuntar 5.6, Kalpa 2.4, Dharamshala 7.0, Una 7.0, Nahan 9.0, Palampur 6.5, Solan 3.3, Manali 2.3, Kangra 7.8, Mandi 7.3, Bilaspur 8.5, 6.9 in Hamirpur, 8.6 in Jubbarhatti, 8.4 in Kufri, 6.4 in Narkanda, 8.8 in Bharmour, 3.7 in Reckong Peo, 2.5 in Seubag, 7.4 in Barthin, 10.0 in Paonta Sahib, 5.7 in Sarahan, 9.0 in Dehra Gopipur, 12.1 in Neri. And a minimum temperature of 5.8 degrees Celsius was recorded in Bajaura.

Maximum temperature in Shimla was 17.6, Sundernagar 19.3, Bhuntar 19.5, Kalpa 16.2, Dharamshala 22.0, Una 24.0, Nahan 19.7, Solan 21.5, Manali 15.6, Kangra 21.2, Mandi 18.4, Bilaspur 21.8, Hamirpur. Maximum temperatures were recorded at 22.0 degrees Celsius, 19.0 in Jubbarhatti, 16.5 in Kufri, 15.3 in Bharmour, 17.2 in Kasauli, 21.3 degrees Celsius in Bajaura.
