Chandauli: This year cold has arrived in the district before time. Compared to the year 2024, the first dense fog of 2025 spread three days earlier. While last year the fog had started from December 16, this time dense fog was seen in Chandauli and surrounding areas from December 13 itself. The situation was very bad on Saturday morning. Visibility was recorded at less than 10 meters till 7 am. The fog was so dense that even after sunrise, the sun could not be seen till around 9 o’clock. Even after this, a blanket of fog remained on the roads for a long time, due to which normal life was badly affected.
The dense fog had the biggest impact on school children. Children faced a lot of trouble in reaching school, while parents also seemed worried about their safety. Even in Dulhipur area, the roads remained wrapped in dense fog till 8 am. Due to very low visibility, people faced problems in transportation. Drivers say that visibility was not clear even a few meters ahead, due to which they had to drive very slowly.
The temperature will drop in the coming days
According to weather experts, the temperature may drop further in the coming days, due to which the intensity of fog is likely to increase.
