Ghaziabad route diversion: The cave temple of Shri 1008 Parshvanath Digambar Jain Jinalaya in Muradnagar, Ghaziabad is unique and grand. It will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. CM’s program is proposed tomorrow (Thursday) at 11:00 am. Due to this, route diversion has been done on Delhi-Meerut road. Some roads will remain closed.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the grand cave temple of Shri 1008 Parshvanath Digambar Jain Seminary built in Muradnagar area of Ghaziabad adjacent to Delhi on Thursday, November 27. CM’s program is proposed at 11:00 am. Thousands of devotees are expected to reach this temple complex located on Delhi-Meerut road, hence the administration has intensified preparations regarding security and traffic arrangements. During the arrival and program of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, special traffic restrictions will be in force on heavy commercial vehicles from 8 am on Wednesday till the end of the program. The purpose of these restrictions is to prevent crowding, jam and any security related problems at the venue and surrounding areas.

According to the traffic department, heavy vehicles going from Duhai towards Muradnagar and Modinagar will not be able to ply. All such vehicles will be diverted directly from Duhai towards Eastern Peripheral Expressway. Similarly, vehicles coming from Palwal or Kundli on Eastern Peripheral Expressway will also not be able to enter in the direction of Muradnagar and Modinagar. Operation of heavy vehicles coming from Modinagar towards Muradnagar or Ghaziabad will also be completely banned. They will be sent from Raj Chaupla Modinagar via Bhojpur via Delhi-Meerut Expressway. According to the traffic department, this arrangement is only for heavy and commercial vehicles so that the pressure on the main roads does not increase during the program.

The administration has appealed to the general public and transporters not to travel unnecessarily on these routes and plan their journey in advance. Following alternative routes will not only avoid jams but will also ensure smooth functioning of the security system. Traffic police say that additional police force has been deployed on the spot and the team will continuously monitor.
