First of all, add wheat flour, semolina, gram flour and desi ghee in a big vessel and mash it well. Now add water little by little and knead a stiff dough. Make cylindrical balls from the dough. Heat ghee in a pan and fry these balls on low flame till they turn golden. After frying, cool them and then break them into small pieces.
Now put these pieces in a mixer and grind them coarsely. On the other hand, add jaggery and desi ghee in a pan and melt it on low flame, until the jaggery foams well. Mix churma powder in it, then add fried cashew-almonds-raisins, poppy seeds and cardamom powder and mix well. While the mixture is still warm, tie it in the shape of laddu with your hands.
Churma laddus are an excellent source of energy. Wheat, semolina and gram flour give strength to the body, while jaggery is rich in iron and improves digestion.
