Bihar Police on Social Media Post: As soon as Samrat Chaudhary became the Home Minister in the NDA government, Bihar Police has become active on social media, strict action has started against those making objectionable posts.
Patna. Not only the climate of Bihar is also going to change the nature of people sharing posts on social media in Bihar. As soon as the NDA government is formed, Shrmat Chaudhary has become the new Home Minister of the state. As soon as Samrat Chaudhary became the Home Minister, Bihar Police has become active on objectionable posts being made on social media. Bihar Police has now started taking swift action against those posting on social media, especially Facebook. A person from Darbhanga had posted a post against Prime Minister Narendra Modi after RJD’s defeat in Bihar elections. Bihar Police has registered an FIR considering this post as controversial and indecent post. Bihar Police has issued a notification regarding social media. If you are not aware of this notification, then your condition may also be like that of the person from Darbhanga.
Bihar Police has issued a press release saying, ‘It is being seen that some mischievous elements are making controversial and indecent posts on various social media platforms with the intention of tarnishing the image of a particular person by morphing their photo or video or creating it with AI. Similarly, posts that hurt the sentiments of any particular religion or caste are being posted and shared, due to which public sentiments are being hurt. Due to this, there is a possibility of deterioration in social harmony. Some such posts are also being made which are hurting the dignity of women.

Bihar Police has said that posting and sharing such objectionable posts is illegal, which is a punishable offense under various sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) and the IT Act (Section 67 and 67A of the IT Act, 2000). There is also a provision to register a case against such a person and arrest him. Those posting such posts are being identified by Bihar Police and strict action will be taken against them.
Keep these things in mind before posting on social media
Let us tell you that recently an objectionable photo and reel was posted on social media by a person through his Facebook ID Pankaj Yadav and Instagram link. In that case, Bihar Police has started further action by registering case no. 76/25 in the cyber police station of Darbhanga district against the operator of the concerned Facebook ID and Instagram ID.
Bihar Police has said that if you do not share any objectionable post of any kind. If any person whether from the state or outside the state. If such objectionable posts are made which hurt someone’s sentiments or have the potential to disturb the social harmony of the state, then strict action will be taken against such person.
