Chitrakoot Police has received 20 new Dial 112 PVR vehicles. By removing the old vehicles, now a total of 29 high-tech PVRs will run on the road, which will prove helpful in controlling crime and improving response time.
Chitrakoot News: You must have seen Dial 112 police vehicles running on the road many times, but now its completely new form and new speed is going to be seen. To strengthen crime control and fast response in the state, Dial 112 service has got a new upgrade today. Many times in large areas and remote villages like Chitrakoot, police help could not reach on time.
To eliminate this problem, today the district has received 20 new four-wheeler PRV vehicles. In the program organized at Police Lines, SP Arun Kumar Singh flagged off all the new vehicles. The SP clearly said that response time is the biggest factor in crime control and with the arrival of new vehicles this shortcoming can be eliminated to a great extent.
Now 29 vehicles of Dial 112 will run on the road
SP informed that 17 four-wheelers and 112 vehicles were already running in the district. In the first installment, 9 new vehicles were approved, upon arrival of which 9 old PRVs were declared defunct and removed. Now after getting 20 new PRVs in the second installment, the remaining 8 old vehicles have also been removed. This means that now a total of 29 modern PVR vehicles are ready to run on the road 24 hours in Chitrakoot.
He said that by removing the old and defective vehicles, a completely new, updated and hi-tech fleet has now been created in the district. With this, the visibility, coverage and response speed of Dial 112 will increase manifold. After the launch of Dial 112, a sharp reduction in road crimes, molestation, accidents, assault, domestic violence and other emergency cases has been recorded across the state. This model of quick response has proved to be very effective in both rural and urban areas.
Equipped with GPS and modern communication system
The new PVR vehicles have been equipped with advanced GPS, high-power illumination, modern communication system, emergency equipment and better safety features. With the arrival of these vehicles, police response to any incident will become faster, professional and more effective.
