chitrakoot news: Often you must have seen that there are many such villages in India, where there are problems of water and living conditions, due to which people remain illiterate, but today we are going to tell you about a village in UP, where even after the spread of chaos, 95 percent people are educated.
Chitrakoot: Chitrakoot is often counted among the most backward districts of UP. Even today, the condition of education in the hilly and plain areas is considered worrisome. And in many villages, the school environment is still weak and the level of literacy appears to be low, but amidst this backwardness, there is a village which has created a distinct identity with its thinking and its struggle and has encouraged the people of the village to move towards education.
95% people of the village are literate
We are talking about Gidurha, a village situated in a remote area of Patha area, where there is such awareness about education that about 95% of the villagers are literate. The specialty of the village is that there is still no concrete road here, water facilities are limited and the reach of government schemes is also less. But despite this, one thing is common from the tribal community to other sections of this village, the unwavering faith in education. Be it elders or children, everyone here has received education in some form or the other. Have made yourself literate. Today its form is that village children are also studying at home along with schools to make themselves literate.
Village bearing the brunt of backwardness
Awadh Naresh Kushwaha, a resident of the same village, while giving information to Local 18, said that 90 to 95% people in our village are literate, the principle of the house here has been that every person should go to school and study. The facilities are less but the will is strong. People here believe that first study, then facilities will come automatically. This is the reason why this village, which had the tag of backwardness, has now become an example of literacy. And most of the children of the village seem eager to go to school from the morning and are looking forward to their future by studying.
