Jammu. Border Security Force (BSF) has foiled a huge conspiracy of Pakistan on the International Border in Jammu. BSF soldiers, showing alertness, have arrested a suspected terrorist from Pragwal sector. This success was not achieved suddenly, but for this BSF had conducted a major operation for two days. Initial investigation and intelligence information have revealed that the arrested suspect was planning to infiltrate a large group of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) into India.
This is a big relief news for the security agencies, because if this infiltration had been successful then it could have posed a big threat to the security in Jammu and Kashmir. BSF also suspects that this suspect may have connections with Chinese weapons. At present, a search operation is being conducted by surrounding the entire area.
BSF’s special operation lasted for two days
BSF had received inputs from intelligence sources that there was some movement from across the border in Pragwal sector of Jammu district. After this the soldiers laid their trap. This operation lasted for about two days. The soldiers kept a strict vigil day and night and finally caught the suspect. This arrest has taken place at a time when infiltration attempts from Pakistan increase under the cover of fog and cold. Pragwal sector is always considered sensitive in terms of infiltration, hence BSF remains on extra alert mode here.
Infiltration of Jaish terrorists and Chinese weapons
During interrogation and investigation, it is coming to light that the work of the arrested suspect was to provide safe passage to the terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammed. He was planning to enter a large group of Jaish into the Indian border. The most worrying thing is that security agencies suspect that this suspect or his group may have China-made weapons. If these weapons had reached the valley, it would have been a big challenge for the security forces. At present, BSF has launched a massive search operation in Pragwal area to ensure that no more suspects or weapons are hidden there.
ISI’s conspiracy to send old commanders
The strings of this arrest also seem to be connected to the new strategy of Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. Security agencies suspect that ISI is now trying to send back those old Kashmiri terrorist commanders who had crossed the border to Pakistan many years ago. These can now be used again to revive terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. It is noteworthy that just a few days ago, IG BSF had also warned that terrorist launch pads have become active again on the Pakistani border. In view of this danger, vigilance on the border has been increased manifold.
