China Japan Conflict: The ongoing dispute between China and Japan is increasing. While Japan is raising questions about the deployment of Chinese aircraft carriers in the sea, China has cornered Japan on why it does not raise questions on American military activities.

Japan’s Defense Ministry claimed on Saturday that the Chinese Navy’s aircraft carrier Liaoning was sighted near Japan. According to Japan, Liaoning practiced takeoff and landing of fighter planes in the Pacific Ocean near Okinawa. According to Japan’s Joint Staff Report, Liaoning was accompanied by China’s Type 055 large destroyer Nanchang and two Type 052D destroyers Hull No. 117 and 124.
Why is China encircling Japan in the sea?
For the first time, Japan has acknowledged the activity of a Chinese aircraft carrier at a time when China has entered the era of three aircraft carriers. A few days ago, Reuters had claimed that China is deploying more than 100 ships of its navy and coast guard in the maritime areas of East Asia. Japan alleges that China is increasing its military activities. Japan alleged that Chinese fighter jets locked fire control radar on its military aircraft, an action that is considered a direct warning of a possible missile attack. A day after this allegation, Japan summoned China’s ambassador and lodged a strong objection. However, the Japanese PM has said that she will respond peacefully.
What is China saying?
China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian has said in response to Japan’s allegations that China’s policy is defensive. According to the Global Times report, the activities of China’s Navy and Coast Guard are in accordance with international law and China’s domestic laws. There is no need to overreact or misinterpret anyone and should not make baseless allegations. Even Chinese military experts have said that China’s aircraft carriers and warships conduct regular exercises in the Western Pacific. Japan has been hyping it every time and talking about the Chinese threat, while Japan does not question America’s heavy military activities. The Chinese aircraft carrier was also seen in June and even then it called it a normal exercise.
