Chinese company accuses many e-commerce companies

The Chinese company has filed a complaint against 46 e-commerce companies including Flipkart, Amazon India, Snapdeal and 46 people including their sellers for selling fake products.

New Delhi. Shenzhen Jiayz Photo Industrial Ltd, a Chinese company that manufactures and exports wireless microphones and other accessories from BOYA brand name, has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court against several e-commerce companies alleging that they are selling fake versions of their products. The Chinese company alleges that Flipkart, Amazon India, Paytm Mall, Tata Cliq and Snapdeal have sold fake versions of its products.

Complaint registered against 46 people
The Chinese company has filed complaints against 46 people, including several e-commerce companies and their sellers. According to the petition filed, e-commerce platforms are cheating customers by selling fake products of BOYA. The company says that complaints have been received from many customers, which has damaged the credibility and reputation of the company.

Court banned the sale of productThe first hearing of the case was held in the Delhi High Court last week during which an interim order was passed. In which sellers are prohibited from selling these products on these e-commerce platforms.

Products with the same serial number found in the assessment
On customer complaints, Shenzhen Jiaz is assessing counterfeit products sold through e-commerce platforms and their sellers, which had products with the same serial number. BOYA’s counsel said, “We have approached the Delhi High Court on the matter and asked for immediate removal of these 42 vendors from the accused e-commerce platform.”

Snapdeal has also issued its clarification on the matter saying that it has removed the accused sellers of selling fake goods by following the order of the court. Snapdeal has a strict policy against counterfeit goods and strictly abides by it. However, there has been no response from Amazon India and Paytm Mall on this issue.
