CM Nitish Kumar House: Nitish Kumar has been the Chief Minister of Bihar continuously since 2005. Despite being the CM continuously for 20 years, his ancestral house in his village was constructed with donations by the villagers. Since becoming the Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar has been living in the CM residence located at Anne Marg, Patna. The Chief Minister has been living in this house for almost 20 years. But the ancestral village of the Chief Minister is situated in Kalyan Bigha of Nalanda district, where his ancestral house still exists.
Nitish Kumar has a two-storey house in Kalyan Bigha village. It is said that this house was constructed with donations from the villagers. There are a total of four rooms in this house on the first floor. In which one room is for Nitish Kumar, the other for his family. The third camera is the kitchen and another room has been made.
It is said that earlier they had an ancestral house which was in a very dilapidated condition. When the villagers asked Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to build a new house in its place, he said that I do not have enough money to build a house for myself. After this the villagers themselves came forward and got a two-storey house built with the help of Chand.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar comes to this house three times a year. He comes here once on 14th May, when his wife’s death anniversary falls. He also comes here on 29th November, when his father’s death anniversary falls. And on January 1, when his mother’s death anniversary falls, he comes to his village Kalyan Bigha.
Just in front of the CM’s house, a reservoir has also been constructed under the Jal Jeevan Hariyali Scheme of the Chief Minister Saat Nishchay Yojana. However, no one lives in this house and it remains locked. A local person has been made the caretaker of this house, who takes care of this house throughout the year.
A referral hospital is also located in the CM’s village, where all kinds of facilities are available. This hospital has an ambulance equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and many other facilities. Where people can be treated properly. People say that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has a special attachment to his village.
There is also a government school in the village itself, which is in very good condition. Sometimes CM also used to study in this school. The villagers told that whenever he comes to the village, he tours the entire village and meets each and every person. The attachment of the people of his village towards the Chief Minister can also be seen.
Villagers told that his son Nishant also comes here occasionally, while his another brother Satish Kumar also comes here every one or two months. Satish Kumar also helped in the construction of this house. Apart from this, CM also comes to the village for someone’s wedding or any other function.
