According to Munna Kumar, caretaker of the park, a huge crowd of people gather here during the picnic season. There are many tourists who do not know about this place before. They also come here and get attracted by the natural beauty. People cook food with their families by lighting stoves at places built on mountain heights. Enjoy picnic in the open environment. Chianki Park has many recreational facilities available for picnickers. Various varieties of swings have been installed for children. Gazebos and comfortable chairs have been arranged for the elders. The facilities of canteen, bathroom and open gym are also available in the park premises. Due to which the people coming here do not face any kind of problem. During the picnic season, the place remains lively from morning till evening. The park is open daily from 9 am to 6 pm.
First choice for picnickers
Chianki Park is also quite convenient from transportation point of view. It is located very close to Daltonganj-Ranchi main road (NH-39). People passing by on the road also often like to stop and spend some time here. A path to climb the mountain has been built at the back of the park, which goes up to half the height. Beyond this, devotees reach the temple through a raw road. If you want to spend some time in the lap of nature in winter, then Chianki Pahad and Park can prove to be an ideal picnic spot for your family.
