Devotees and people visiting Chamoli have started reaching here to have darshan of Baba Barfani. Devotees from far away places also come here to have darshan of Shivalinga. This holy place looks very beautiful with the darshan of Baba and is covered with a blanket of snow.

Timmarsain Cave is located at a walking distance of 3 kilometers near Neeti village on Joshimath-Malari Highway in Chamoli district. After snowfall in the month of December, the weather of Neeti Valley has become pleasant. The cold has increased here after snowfall. These days the waterfalls and drains here have turned into ice. These days Baba Barfani has started appearing in his natural form in Timmarsain cave also. To promote winter tourism, the Tourism Department will work to develop the route to reach Timmersain Cave. A budget of Rs 26.85 crore will be allocated for this, in which tin shed, parking and one and a half kilometer track will be prepared.
If you want to have darshan of Baba Barfani, then to reach Neeti Valley, you should take a train from Delhi to Haridwar and Rishikesh. After reaching Haridwar or Rishikesh, you can reach Joshimath via bus or taxi. You can go to Neeti Valley from Joshimath by taxi, which is about 80 kilometers away. A large number of people are reaching here at this time.
During winters in Timmarsain, due to accumulation of snow on Shivalinga, its size becomes about 10 feet high. On which the anointing is done with the water dripping from the hill. Local people say that when the snow melts in winter, this Shivalinga returns to its original shape, hence people also call it ‘Chhota Amarnath’.
