Chhattisgarh Weather Update: The weather is changing rapidly in Chhattisgarh. Amidst the cold winds that have been blowing for the last few days, there is now a possibility of cold wave in many districts. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature may fall to dangerous levels in many pockets of Surguja and Durg divisions, while the effect of cold wave will also be seen in some areas of Bilaspur and Raipur divisions. In this context, a forecast has been issued of dense fog in Raipur city in the morning on 8th December.
Danger of cold wave in Surguja and Durg divisions
The Meteorological Department has warned that severe cold wave conditions may occur in many pockets of Surguja and Durg divisions. The minimum temperature here can go much below normal, due to which the daily routine of common people is likely to be affected.
Temperature also drops in some areas of Bilaspur and Raipur divisions
The effect of cold wave is also predicted in one or two pockets of Bilaspur and Raipur divisions. According to experts, further decline in night temperatures may be recorded in these areas.
Weather is dry in the state, Ambikapur is the coldest
The weather remained completely dry in the state for the last 24 hours. During this period, the highest maximum temperature recorded in Durg was 29.6°C, while Ambikapur was the coldest district of the state with 05.2°C.
Rain and cyano system completely free
Rainfall figures are currently at zero and there is no active cyano system in the state. According to meteorologists, there is no possibility of rain for the next few days.
The weather will remain dry for the next two days also
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain dry across the state in the next two days. However, night and morning temperatures will continue to drop.
Dense fog in Raipur in the morning on 8th December
The local forecast for the capital Raipur states that there will be dense fog in the city on the morning of 8 December. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 28°C and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 12°C.
