Chamoli: Char Dham Yatra has been completed in Uttarakhand. After Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri Dham, now the doors of Badrinath Dham were also closed at 2.56 pm on Tuesday. With the closing of the doors of Badrinath Dham, the pilgrimage to all the four Dhams located in Uttarakhand has been duly completed. This journey was definitely affected during the monsoon season. But after that the journey also gained momentum again. Local people say that the travel arrangements were good. Therefore, this year a record number of pilgrims have reached Badrinath Dham. It is expected that there will be an increase in travel next year after better arrangements are made.
Who worshiped before closing the doors?
Officials of Shri Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee said that after the special puja, the doors of Badrinath were closed for the devotees. On this occasion, despite the cold, a large number of devotees from India and abroad were present to have darshan of Badri Vishal. He told that the process of closing the doors had started in the morning itself. Before the doors were closed, the last puja was performed by the chief priest of Badrinath, Rawal Amarnath Namboodiri. On this occasion, the Badrinath temple complex was decorated with several quintals of flowers, mainly yellow and orange marigold flowers were used.
The doors of Teen Dham were already closed
The atmosphere in Badrinath Dham had become devotional since morning due to the melodious tunes of the bands of Army’s Garhwal Scouts along with traditional folk dance and bhajan kirtan. The Utsav Doli of the Lord will leave on Wednesday for his winter stay place Narasimha Temple in Jyotirmath where devotees will be able to have darshan during winters. With the closure of Badrinath temple located in Chamoli district, this year’s Char Dham Yatra also came to an end. Out of the four Dhams of Garhwal Himalaya, the doors of three Dhams have been closed for the winter season only last month. The doors of Kedarnath Dham and Yamunotri Dham were closed on 23 October while the doors of Gangotri were closed on 22 October on the festival of Annakoot, the next day of Diwali.
More than 50 lakh devotees visited Char Dham

16 lakh people reached Badrinath Dham this year

On the last day, more than 5000 devotees had darshan of Lord Badri Vishal. This year more than 16.55 lakh pilgrims visited Lord Badri Vishal. Let us tell you that this time there were many natural disasters during the Char Dham Yatra. There were landslides at many places, heavy rains and not only this, helicopters also crashed, in which many people died.
