District Level Youth Festival 2025: District level youth festival is being held in the auditorium on 11th and 12th December, in which participants in the age group of 15 to 29 years will be able to participate in various competitions including folk dance, pantheon dance, raut dance, folk song, debate, innovation, one-act play, rock band, painting, story and poetry writing.
In Janjgir-Champa, the year 2025-26 is being celebrated by the District Administration and Sports and Youth Welfare Department as a district level youth festival which is being organized on 11th and 12th December, this two-day program will start from 8 am in the auditorium of the district headquarters Janjgir, the objective of the event is to provide a platform to the diverse talents hidden among the youth of the district, and to take them forward with enthusiasm.
In this youth festival, competitions will be held with a total of 10-10 participants in folk dance, pantheon dance, suan dance and folk song, apart from this, one participant each will be allowed to participate in story writing, painting and poetry writing, two participants each will be allowed in debate and innovation, while 12 participants will be allowed to participate in one-act play and 10 in rock band, for Raut dance and Karman dance also there will be groups of 10-10 participants. Can participate, two participants will get a chance in the traditional costume competition.
The age limit of the participants of this youth festival is fixed at 15 to 29 years, while the age of the musicians can be from 18 to 40 years, this age limit has been kept to ensure fair and equal opportunities in various competitions, so that more and more youth can showcase their art.

Participants or teams can submit applications along with their registration form, photograph and age certificate to the District Sports Officer, Sports and Youth Welfare Office (Old Irrigation Colony), Janjgir-Champa during office hours. Interested candidates can get the necessary information by contacting the office for any other information.
It is mandatory for the participants wishing to participate in the festival to do pre-registration, under which all the participants will be required to submit the application within the stipulated time limit, without registration no participant will be included in the competition.
