Piyush Goyal told the delegation that his ministry is preparing to bring a strong e-commerce policy and a new press note 3 will also be released soon under the FDI policy. In which all the routes like violating the provisions of press note 2 will be closed.

Advice for mandatory registration of e-commerce unit appreciated
Khandelwal said that when the mandatory registration of every e-commerce entity engaged in online transactions of goods and services through any medium of online business was suggested by CAT, Piyush Goyal appreciated it. He asked the officials present in the meeting to act on the suggestion. Goyal said that the government is very sensitive to the issues of traders and the government is committed to providing ease of doing business. Because traders are the real backbone of the economy and at the time of any crisis, traders have always been there to help.
On CAT’s suggestion to make the GST taxation system easier, Piyush Goyal assured that he would definitely talk to Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and advised CAT that he would also give a detailed memorandum on the matter to the Finance Minister Make them aware of your difficulties.
