The central government has appointed doctors and staff for the 900-bed Kovid Hospital being set up by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
“On the request of the Government of Gujarat, the Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to deploy 25 doctors and 75 paramedical staff of paramilitary forces in the 900-bed Kovid Hospital being set up by the DRDO in Ahmedabad,” a ministry official said.
