A lawyer filed a petition in the Delhi High Court against the implementation of the privacy policy of WhatsApp. The petition said that it is against the fundamental rights given in the constitution. The central government told the Delhi High Court that a notice has been issued to WhatsApp regarding the new privacy policy. The government is waiting for the reply of WhatsApp. At present, the Delhi High Court has postponed the hearing of the case till March 1, 2021 after the Center’s reply.
