Swami Chaitanyananda News: Delhi Police filed a charge sheet against Parth Sarathi Baba, accused in the case of molestation of 17 girl students of Shri Sharda Institute. The hearing will be held in Patiala House Court. Delhi Police has prepared the charge sheet on the basis of the statements of the girl students, electronic evidence and interrogation of the employees of the institute.
New Delhi. Delhi Police has filed a detailed charge sheet against the accused Swami Chaitanyanand Saraswati alias Partha Sarathi Baba in the famous case related to serious allegations of molestation and sexual harassment of 17 girl students of Shri Sharda Institute of Indian Management and Research located in Vasant Kunj. This charge sheet has been filed by the special team of Delhi Police and hearing on it is scheduled in Patiala House Court on Thursday. This charge sheet will be presented in the court for further proceedings.
In this sensational case, the accused Parth Sarathi Baba was arrested by the police late night on 27th September from Hotel ‘First Tajganj’ in Agra. The arrest took place when he was allegedly trying to abscond. After his arrest, he was immediately brought to Delhi, where medical examination was done at Safdarjung Hospital. After completion of the investigation, the police produced him in Patiala House Court, from where he was sent to judicial custody.
17 girl students made serious allegations
The girl students of Sharda Institute had alleged that the accused Swami subjected them to continuous molestation, inappropriate touching and mental torture in the name of ashram and spiritual sessions. Some girl students also told the police that the accused used to threaten them and threatened to ruin their careers if they complained. Delhi Police has prepared the charge sheet on the basis of the statements of the girl students, electronic evidence and interrogation of the employees of the institute.
Important hearing on 27th November
The hearing to be held on Thursday in Patiala House Court is considered very important because the court will review the charge sheet and decide on further legal action. The police hope that the trial against the accused will start soon after the charge sheet is presented in the court.
