Tata Sierra Review: Tata Sierra is the widest SUV in the entire segment. Its upright stance further increases its height and hence it provides more headroom space inside the cabin. More length, width and height create more space in the cabin.
New Delhi. Tata Sierra has been in the news since its launch. It has also attracted the attention of customers with modern features, strong presence and very spacious cabin. With a starting price of Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom), Tata Sierra has emerged as a very attractive package in its category. Interestingly, its size is larger than traditional mid-size SUVs like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate. Tata has given it such dimensions that it directly fits into the range of big SUVs like Tata Harrier, MG Hector and Mahindra XUV700. Now the question arising in the minds of many people is whether it is really as spacious as it is being claimed? Can three people sit comfortably in the rear seat?
The 2025 Tata Sierra is longer than the Creta, Elevate, Grand Vitara, Kushaq and Astor. However, some models like Seltos, Hyrider are slightly longer than this. But overall, Sierra offers top-tier presence in this segment. The biggest difference is seen in its width, as it is the widest SUV in the entire segment. This is the reason why the seating inside becomes very comfortable. Sierra is the tallest SUV in the segment. Its upright stance further increases headroom. Even tall passengers do not face the problem of touching their heads while sitting at the back.
Can 3 people sit comfortably in the back seat?
The width of Sierra is the largest in this segment. This means that the shoulder room for the rear seat occupants is much better than other SUVs. There is neither much space for knees nor shoulders to collide with each other when three adults sit together. The cushioning of the rear seat is also supportive and its bench-type design proves to be especially good for three people. The larger width, longer wheelbase, taller cabin and better seat design together make it an SUV in which three people can sit comfortably.
The larger the wheelbase of the SUV, the better the interior space. The wheelbase of the Sierra is the longest in the segment, which takes its legroom and seating comfort to a new level. Rear passengers do not feel tired during long journeys. While other SUVs offer 400–500 liters of boot space, the Sierra has a huge boot of 622 litres. Be it a family trip, outdoor exploring or a long highway journey, there is no chance of feeling short of luggage.
