An easy method of making tasty paratha made of cabbage and potatoes, which is very much liked in winters, has been described, it is served hot with coriander leaves or tomato chutney. Let us know the easy way to make it.
Darbhanga: Paratha remains at the top of our menu during the cold season. In such a situation, today we are going to tell you a simple way to make a tasty paratha, which is made from cabbage and boiled potatoes. This paratha is not only delicious, but it is also very easy to make.
Material:
1 head of cabbage
2-3 boiled potatoes
2 cups flour
1 onion finely chopped
2-3 cloves of garlic
1 inch ginger
2-3 green chillies
1 tablespoon celery
Salt as per taste, oil or ghee
Method:
1. First of all, cut the cabbage into thin shapes.
2. Put cabbage and potatoes in a cooker to boil. Cook for two to three whistles.
3. When the potatoes and cabbage are boiled, put them in a vessel and leave them to drain.
4. Put a pan on the gas stove, add some oil and finely chopped onion, garlic, ginger, green chillies and celery and fry for some time.
5. When the onion turns light brown, add cabbage and potatoes and fry until it turns red.
6. Add two cups of flour, a little salt in a vessel and knead it well.
7. Make a round ball of dough, add mashed cabbage and potato chokha in it.
8. Apply flour and roll it into a round shape, then place the pan on the gas stove, apply a little refined flour, put the paratha in it and cook it well. When your paratha is cooked well, take it out in a plate and enjoy it with coriander leaves chutney or tomato chutney.
Tips:
Cabbage and potatoes should be boiled well, so that the paratha becomes soft. You can add spices as per your taste in paratha. Paratha should be served hot, so that it tastes delicious.
