Amroha News: Police arrested Bangladeshi woman Reena Begum and her husband Rashid Ali, living illegally in Mandi Dhanaura, Amroha. Both of them met in Saudi Arabia. After coming to India without a visa via Nepal, action was taken under the Foreigners Act and he was sent to jail.
Big news has come out from Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh. Police station Mandi Dhanaura has arrested a Bangladeshi woman living in India illegally and her husband who gave shelter to her. The arrested woman has been identified as Reena Begum, resident of Ghazipur Dhaka (Bangladesh), while her husband Rashid Ali is a resident of Mohalla Katra, Mandi Dhanaura, Amroha. This matter came to light on the basis of a reel that went viral on social media.
According to the police, Rashid Ali and Reena Begum met about six years ago while working in a hospital in Saudi Arabia. A love affair started between them and they got married in Saudi Arabia. After this, Rashid Ali went to Bangladesh several times and from there brought Reena Begum to Nepal on a tourist visa. After this, the woman was allowed to enter India without any valid visa via Banbasa via Mahendranagar in Nepal.
The matter came to light when the police received information that a Bangladeshi woman was living in Rashid Ali’s house. When the police reached the information and interrogated them, the whole matter came to light. After this, a case was registered against both of them under the Foreigners Act 1946 and they were arrested.
It is being told that a reel named ‘Bye-Bye Bangladesh’ had gone viral on Reena Begum’s social media account Facebook, due to which the police became suspicious and the investigation was intensified. After investigation, the police exposed the entire network and presented both of them in the court, from where they have been sent to jail. At present the police is engaged in a thorough investigation of the entire matter.
