House in Delhi: Now this journey will become easier for those buying cheap houses in the capital Delhi. Delhi government has decided to open another office of the corporation providing loans for affordable housing. Rohini and surrounding areas will benefit from this.
New Delhi. Buying your own house in the country’s capital Delhi is no less than a dream come true. This is the reason why Delhi Development Authority (DDA) often brings projects of cheap and affordable houses and flats. Although all banks offer loans to buy these flats, Delhi Cooperative Housing Finance Corporation Limited (DCHFC) is a trusted name in providing affordable loans. Now the government has decided to expand this corporation, so that loans can be easily made available for affordable houses.
In fact, it has been decided to expand Delhi Cooperative Housing Finance Corporation Limited (DCHFC) to provide affordable, simple and transparent housing loans to the people of Delhi. The decision was taken after a review meeting with DCHFC officials chaired by Delhi Cooperation Minister Ravindra Indraj. Now next month, a new office of DCHFC will be opened in Rohini, which will benefit North-West Delhi and surrounding areas.
Where is the office built now?
The second office of the corporation will be opened in Rohini and the first one is running in Siri Fort. In the meeting with the Minister, the loan disbursement, recovery, financial position and expansion plans of DCHFC were reviewed. The focus of the government will be on providing housing loans at affordable interest rates to the middle class, low income group and cooperative housing societies. For the first time, instructions have been given to open new branches of DCHFC in Delhi.
Preparation to open more branches in future
The purpose of opening this office is to focus on strengthening public awareness and publicity to increase the reach of DCHFC. Instructions have been given to prepare plans to open new offices at other suitable places in Delhi in future. Through this, DCHFC will be technically empowered to make the loan approval process more simple, timely and transparent.
For what purposes are loans available?
- Personal loans are available for purchase of flat/house in co-operative group housing society.
- Loan is also easily available on allotment of flat or house by DDA.
- It also provides loans for renovation of house/flat and purchase of freehold property.
- The society also gets bridge loan from DDA for land purchase and project completion.
- Loan assistance is available for lift replacement, outdoor development work, rain water harvesting and solar system installation.
What is the purpose of the government?
The Cooperative Minister of the capital says that the priority of the Delhi government is that middle class and low income group families should get affordable and transparent housing loans through cooperatives. The expansion of DCHFC is a concrete step in this direction, so that more and more people can realize their dream of owning a home. He said that along with building affordable houses, we are also emphasizing on providing easy loans to buy them.
