There has been a firing incident near the White House in Washington DC, in which three people have been injured, including two National Guardsmen. In retaliation, the suspect was hit by four bullets and was immediately arrested. President Donald Trump called the attacker an “animal” and ordered the deployment of 500 additional National Guardsmen to beef up security. This incident has raised questions on the security of the capital. More information is yet to be known about the attacker’s intentions.
