Country’s first bullet train project- This is the first bullet train project in the country. 155.76 km of the 508.17 km long bullet train corridor of Mumbai-Ahmedabad is in Maharashtra, 348.04 km in Gujarat and 4.3 km in Dadra and Nagar Haveli. The cost of this project is 1.1 lakh crores. Out of which Japan International is financed 81 percent by the operation agency.

90 thousand people will get employment in this project- In 2017, Prime Minister Modi signed an agreement with the then Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe for this ambitious plan of Modi government. Let us tell you that during the 508 km long Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor project, about 90 thousand people will get employment. At the same time, after the completion of this trek, the country’s first bullet train will run at a speed of 300 km per hour.

After the success of Mumbai-Ahmedabad Rail Corridor, Delhi – There are plans to build Sal and High Speed Rail Corridors including Ahmedabad, Delhi-Amritsar, Varanasi-Howrah, Delhi-Varanasi, Mumbai-Hyderabad, Mumbai-Nagpur.
