Illegal sheds, carts and temporary shops built on the road were turned into debris in no time.
Early in the morning, administrative staff, heavy police force and city council team reached the spot in large numbers and surrounded the entire area. Although the shopkeepers were first shown notice and given time to remove the encroachment, but as soon as the time was up, the machines entered the field. The crowd gathered at the spot would stop breathing at every move of the bulldozer.
