Bokaro’s daughter Reshma Kumari, representing India in the Hong Kong International Bowls Classic Tournament 2025, has performed brilliantly and won the bronze medal in the women’s pairs category.
Bokaro’s daughter Reshma Kumari has performed brilliantly while representing India in the Hong Kong International Bowls Classic Tournament 2025 held in Hong Kong. She has brought glory to Bokaro district and Jharkhand state by winning the bronze medal in the women’s pairs category.
This competition was played in Hong Kong from 15th November to 23rd November. The Indian team along with Reshma Kumari included Manu Kumari Pal and both of them demonstrated excellent coordination and strong play during the entire tournament and won the bronze medal. In this category, Scotland got first place, Hong Kong got second place and India got third place.
After winning the medal, Reshma Kumari expressed her happiness in the conversation and said that winning a medal at the international level is a matter of great pride for her and this success will inspire her to perform better in future. Reshma gave the credit of her achievement to her coach Dr. Madhyant Kant Pathak, senior players and all the sports lovers who always encouraged her.

Today, on the basis of his hard work and talent, he has come out of Jharkhand and made his mark at the national and international level.
Let us tell you that Reshma comes from a very ordinary and financially weak family. Her father Suresh Kumar drives an auto, while her mother Asha Devi passed away in the year 2022. Even after these difficult circumstances, Reshma did not give up and on the strength of her dedication towards sports, she made it to the Jharkhand team and is now making the country proud on the international stage.
Reshma’s dream is to participate in more big tournaments in the coming years so that she can win more and more medals for the country and her aim is to work hard continuously so that she can further improve the level of her sports and bring glory to her family and country in the world of sports.
