Khatima Violence News: There is anger among the people after the murder of a youth in Khatima. Trade boards and various organizations demonstrated and demanded immediate punishment of the accused. To maintain peace, the administration has increased security by imposing Section 163 in the area.
Khatima: There is anger among the city residents after the murder of 24-year-old Tushar Sharma in Khatima of US Nagar last Friday. Due to which, today on Saturday, trade unions and other organizations took to the streets in protest against the incident and demonstrated demanding immediate punishment of the accused. The angry mob blocked the highway, committing arson and vandalism. There was also a protest by closing the market. During this time a tea stall was also set on fire. It is being told that this shop belonged to the father of one of the accused. Seeing the increasing protests, the administration has increased the security of the area by imposing Section 163 to maintain peace. Along with this, the municipality also took action to remove encroachments around the incident site.
Let us tell you that after an altercation between two groups near the Roadways bus stand at around 9:30 pm last night, 24-year-old Tushar Sharma, living near Ashram Vidya Vidyalaya, was stabbed to death. While Salman, resident of Pakdiya and Abhay, resident of Valmiki Basti were seriously injured.
At the time of the incident, the three friends were standing at a tea stall located near the bus stand. During this time, he had an altercation with a group of youths who had come from Gotiya Islamnagar. Within no time the altercation turned into a fight and then a knife attack. In which the attackers attacked Tushar with a knife. Due to which he died.
Deceased Tushar Sharma was 24 years old. Who was working in a transport company. He got married only two years ago. Tushar’s father Manoj Sharma works to sharpen scissors and knives. This sudden incident has created chaos in the family and tension has spread in the area.
Police area officer Khatima Vimal Rawal said that the incident is being investigated thoroughly. The criminals will be arrested soon. He appealed to the people to maintain peace. After the post-mortem, Tushar Sharma’s body reached his house in the presence of heavy police force, where the atmosphere became sad. Police assured that strict action will be taken against the criminals.
