Chamba News: Hans Raj, MLA from Churah, Chamba, Himachal Pradesh has got regular bail from the court. The Muslim girl had accused him of sexual exploitation. The matter is under consideration, the next hearing will be monitored. Due to Hans Raj case, he has not been able to attend the session of Himachal Assembly. His dispute with the Muslim girl has been going on since a year ago.
Chamba. There is a relief news for Hans Raj, MLA from Churah, Chamba, Himachal Pradesh. He has got regular bail from the court. The Muslim girl has accused him of sexual exploitation.
According to the information, after getting bail, he came out of the court premises in an emotional state and this decision is considered very important for his political and legal future.
MLA Hansraj appeared before the special judge after the anticipatory bail period ended on Thursday. Earlier on November 22, the court had reserved the verdict after hearing the arguments of both the parties and had fixed November 27 as the date for pronouncing the verdict, on which the bail has now been approved.
After getting bail, Hans Raj said that he has faith in the Constitution of India and he has always bowed before the law. Hans Raj’s lawyer said that earlier interim bail was sought in the court, but now regular bail has been granted.
Actually, this is a year old matter. The Muslim girl from Churah had given a complaint earlier also. But then talks of a compromise came to light. However, the girl then accused Hansraj of harassing her. The case was registered in September 2024 and is pending. But once again a complaint was given to the police and then on the orders of the court, an FIR was registered against him under the POCSO Act.
Hans Raj has been interrogated
As part of the investigation of the case, the police interrogated him for about two and a half hours in the women’s police station. To avoid his arrest, the MLA had earlier filed a petition for anticipatory bail, which was accepted by the court. After this, he applied for regular bail, on which now on Thursday, giving relief, the court has approved the bail. At present, the judicial process of the case is going on and the situation is expected to become clear during further hearing.
