Patna. The news is from Vaishali, where the police has stepped up action in the case of burning a minor girl alive. On the statement of the girl, the police have registered a case against four people and have started raids to arrest the accused. SDPO Mahua Poonam Kesari told that there was a dispute over DJ dancing in the wedding ceremony. After this, the accused boys had threatened and on Thursday morning when the girl went for defecation, two boys caught hold of the girl and sprinkled petrol on her and set her on fire.
Here, Bharat Singh, the father of the injured girl, told that there was no previous dispute with the accused. There was a wedding of his pattidar’s nephew in which women were dancing. Meanwhile, apart from two real brothers Prashant and Prateek, some other boys entered it and started dancing, which was opposed by other girls. All the accused got confused on this.
After talking and listening, the quarrel ended, but later everyone threatened to set the village on fire while leaving. In the morning, when his daughter went outside the house to defecate, the two accused caught hold of her and set her on fire. After which the people of the house somehow extinguished the fire.
The injured girl has 15 percent burns and she is now being told out of danger. However, the injured girl told that the two boys who had carried out the incident had covered their faces. Therefore, it is being speculated that the same boys who quarreled late on Wednesday night and threatened to set themselves on fire, have executed this incident.
