Bihar News Today LIVE: After the formation of the new government in Bihar, the winter session of the Assembly is starting from 1st December. This session will run from 1 to 5 December 2025. In view of this, the district administration of the capital Patna has tightened the security arrangements. Section 163 of the Indian Civil Security Code (BNSS) will remain in force in Patna during the session. Under which there will be a complete ban on any kind of demonstration, procession and public protest program.

With this session, Bihar Assembly has now become hi-tech. Digital tabs have been installed on every seat of the House, through which MLAs will be able to view questions and answers, motions, copies of bills and all other documents directly on the tab. This step is an important initiative towards making the proceedings of the Assembly paperless.

Apart from this, an advanced microphone system has also been installed in the House, so that there is no technical hindrance during the speech and dialogue. The new audio-visual equipment will not only improve the quality of the proceedings, but also strengthen the recording system. Big meeting of Congress in Patna today
An important meeting of Congress is going to be held today in Sadaqat Ashram, Patna. This is the first big meeting after the election results, in which all the district presidents, Morcha chiefs and organization officials will attend. State President Rajesh Ram has directed all the officials to reach Patna. In the meeting, Mehrauli’s proposed discussion on the issue of “vote theft” to be held in Delhi on December 14 will be considered. What will happen today during Bihar Assembly session?
Today, on the first day of the session, the oath will be administered to 243 newly elected MLAs. Senior JDU MLA Narendra Narayan Yadav has been appointed as pro tem speaker. He will first take oath himself and then administer oath to all the other MLAs. After the swearing in, there will be a process to file nomination for the post of Speaker. There will be a chance to withdraw nominations only today. The election of the Speaker will be held as soon as the House proceedings begin in the morning on 2nd December.

Chhapra News: Encounter with a notorious criminal, a policeman also injured
This morning there was an encounter between the police and the criminal near Bishanpur in Chapra. The police shot and injured notorious criminal Shikari Rai. Who has been taken to Sadar Hospital.
