Bihar-Jharkhand News Today LIVE: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will be on a visit to Gaya today, where he will formally inaugurate the two-day workshop ‘Manthan-2025’ for IAS officers at Vipard. The main objective of this important event is to speed up the pace of development works in Bihar and to have in-depth discussions on administrative reforms. After the workshop, the Chief Minister will visit the world famous Mahabodhi Temple and offer prayers to Lord Buddha. The district administration has made strict security arrangements regarding the arrival of the CM and changes have been made in the traffic routes in the city from 10 am to 3 pm so that the general public does not face inconvenience.
BPSC 70th Mains Exam Result Released
Bihar Public Service Commission has released the BPSC Mains Result 2025 for the 70th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE). Candidates who appeared in this written examination held in April 2025 can now check their qualifying status on the official website – bpsc.bih.nic.in. BPSC Mains Result 2025 has been released to fill 2,035 vacancies in various administrative and state government departments in Bihar. Candidates shortlisted in the Mains round will now proceed to the Personality Test (Interview) round, the final stage of the selection process.

Elephant rampage in Ramgarh: 4 people including security guard crushed to death, panic in the area
Last night, a herd of elephants created a ruckus in the Kuju forest area of Ramgarh, in which four people were crushed to death. The dead include two women and two youths. The elephants first made CCL security guard Amit Rajwar, who was making a video, their victim, after which they crushed a young man and a woman riding a bike on the Ghaton-Kuzu main road. Late night another woman was also killed by elephants. There is great panic among the villagers due to this herd of more than a dozen elephants. At present the QRT team of the Forest Department has chased the elephants towards Laio forest.
