Many times it happens that children are not able to pay money for a long time. Now when people are not able to deposit the money, a rule has been made by the government. Under this rule, the concerned student has to come to the DRCC office and submit the affidavit. You have to submit your affidavit twice a year. Currently the affidavit is being submitted, the last date of which is 31st December. By this time the children have to come to the DRCC office and submit their affidavit.
Will have to submit an affidavit
Regarding this, Assistant Manager Planning Sangeeta Kumari, working in Jehanabad DRCC office, said that students who have received government education loan and are not able to return the money can submit the affidavit twice in a year. Download the affidavit from the departmental portal. Get the affidavit printed on a non-judicial stamp of Rs 100 and get it attested by a notary. After this it has to be uploaded on the department’s portal. After this, its original copy has to be submitted to the DRCC office.
New update on interest amount
Sangeeta Kumari also said that doing this will provide relief for 6 months. If further job is not available within 6 months then the same work has to be done at that time also. Any student whose loan amount is more than Rs 2 lakh can submit the affidavit for 10 years. Whereas, those whose amount is less than Rs 2 lakh can give affidavit for 7 years. According to the new decision of the government, students who have already availed education loan will have to return only the principal amount, the interest amount has been waived off.
