What is FASTag?
FASTag is a method of electronic payment, developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). Payment is made on crossing the toll plaza without stopping the vehicle using RFID technology. The FASTag is a sticker that attaches to the inside of your car’s windshield. It is associated with the registration details of your vehicle through radio-frequency identification (RFID) barcode. As your vehicle passes, the RFID code for your vehicle is detected. Toll tax is deducted from your prepaid balance. Now you will be done without stopping.
