Darbhanga AIIMS Road Project: The process of rejuvenation of Shobhan-Ekmighat road for Darbhanga AIIMS has started. After the rejuvenation of this road, people of nearby districts like Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Madhubani, Saharsa, Supaul, Purnia will get easy connectivity to AIIMS. District Magistrate Kaushal Kumar has given instructions to immediately prepare a proposal in this regard and submit it to the concerned department.
Darbhanga: The process of rejuvenation of Shobhan-Ekmighat road for Darbhanga AIIMS has started. Various aspects of this project were discussed in detail in a meeting held under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Darbhanga Kaushal Kumar. In the meeting, District Land Acquisition Officer, Executive Engineer Road Division Darbhanga, Assistant Engineer Road Sub Division No. 1, Darbhanga, and Consultant Arch-Aid Architects & Engineers Pvt. Ltd. Representatives of were present. Executive Engineer, Road Division, Darbhanga said that the tender process for converting the Shobhan-Ekmighat road from the present 2-lane to 4-lane has almost been completed. The sensor has also been selected.
This path starts from NH-322 (Ekmighat Chowk) and goes to NH-27 Shobhan via AIIMS Darbhanga. After the rejuvenation of this road, people of nearby districts like Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Madhubani, Saharsa, Supaul, Purnia will get easy connectivity to AIIMS. Besides, this will also reduce the problem of traffic jam in Darbhanga city to a great extent. The Executive Engineer said that there is a need to build an elevated road in an area of about 800 meters near AIIMS on the proposed Ekmi-Shobhan 4-lane road. So that there is no hindrance in traffic. District Magistrate Kaushal Kumar has given instructions to immediately prepare a proposal in this regard and submit it to the concerned department.
Four lane work will start soon
The rejuvenation of Shobhan-Ekmighat road will not only lead to the development of Darbhanga AIIMS, but it will also prove to be a great convenience for the people of the surrounding districts. After this initiative of Darbhanga District Officer, there is hope among the people that the work of four lane will start soon. It will be possible to improve the city’s traffic system.
