18% GST to be cut from F&F
According to the decision of the GST Authority, if any employee leaves the job without completing his notice period, then GST can be deducted from 18% of his full and final payments.
This decision has been taken by the Gujarat Authority of Advanced Ruling. This entire matter is related to a company based in Ahmedabad. Let us tell you that this case started with an employee of the export company Amneal Pharma. Let the employee of the company leave the job without serving the three-month notes period, after which the matter came to light.

GST Authority took this decisionAfter this case, the GST Authority said in its decision that this amount is not under the Employee Exemption under the GST Act (Employee Exemption), therefore, 18 percent GST will have to be paid on the condition of not completing the notice period.

Let us tell you that while hiring any employee, full information about the notice period is given in the appointment letter given to them. The number of days the notice period is, the employee has to resign as many days before leaving the job.

Let us tell you that if the notice period of any employee is 3 months and he only works for 2 months after resigning, then 18% GST will be deducted from his remaining salary of one month. That is, if an employee’s salary monthly is Rs 50,000, then according to this decision of Gujarat Authority of Advance Ruling, an employee will have to pay 18 months GST along with one month salary.
