Non-EMV ATMs will not be able to withdraw money
If you also have an account with PNB, then it is important news for you from 1 February 2021, PNB customers will not be able to deal with non-EMV ATM machines.

Punjab National Bank tweeted that to protect its customers from fraud, PNB will ban transactions (financial and non-financial) from 01.02.2021 from non-EMV ATM machines. Go-Digital, Go-Safe …!

Without EMV machine, we will not be able to make transactions
The bank said that in view of increasing cases of fraud, PNB has taken this step, so that customers’ money is safe. From February 1 onwards, customers will not be able to do financial or non-financial transactions from ATMs without EMV.
What is Non-EVM ATM?
Let us tell you that non-EMV ATMs are those in which the card is not kept during the transaction. In this, the data is read through a magnetic strip. Apart from this, the card is locked for a few seconds at the EMV ATM.

Let us know recently that Punjab National Bank has given its customers the facility to turn on / off their ATM debit card through PNBOne app. If you do not use your card, you can turn it off. By doing this, your money kept in your bank account will be safe.
