Sawai Madhopur. A shocking incident has come to light in the special intensive voter verification (SIR) campaign going on in Rajasthan. Here a living doctor was declared dead. Now there is an uproar after the matter came to light. The victim doctor has made serious allegations against the BLO. He says that declaring a living person dead raises questions on the devotion to duty of the BLO. At present, the aggrieved doctors are making rounds of the office to get their names added back. The victim is also angry at the fact that till now no action has been taken against the guilty BLAO.
According to the information, 72 year old retired Ayurveda medical officer and poet Gopinath son Maheshchand Sharma is a resident of Ward No. 33 of Gangapur City. They live there on Canal Road. Gopinath said that the calculation form of SIR was not provided to him till 16 November. He became suspicious about this. When he took information from BLO Chhotu Khan, he came to know that he had been declared dead. He was stunned to hear this.
BLO God, what happened?
According to him, declaring Gopinath dead while he is alive is not only insulting but also a serious negligence in the election process. He has also given a complaint to Sub District Election and Registration Officer Brijendra Meena. It is alleged that despite this, his name has still not been added to the list. They are constantly making rounds of his office. He says, “I am alive, I am breathing. I am standing in front of you. Still, the BLO has killed me in the voter list. Has the BLO become God?”
Name is registered at number 532 in part number 109
Gopinath told that his name is registered at number 532 in part number 109 of the voter list of 2002. He also has epic numbers. On this basis, he has also voted in the last Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. Gopinath says that the intentions of the Election Commission are very right. Purification is going on. The administration is doing the right thing. But such BLOs defame them. Gopinath says that either he should be given a death certificate or his name should be added to the voter list again.
This is why Gopinath is more angry
Gopinath is also angry because despite making such a big mistake and complaining to the SDM for eight days, no action has been taken against the BLO till now. He says that declaring him dead raises doubts on the conscientiousness of the BLO. Now will I be reborn? Ajit, an employee of the SDM office associated with the SIR process, says that a notice has been written to the BLO. The form has been filled to get Gopinath’s name added back.
