Patna Weekend Traffic Plan: Patna Traffic Police has issued a special traffic plan for this weekend and next weekend. Under this, movement of common people has been restricted on many roads. Separate places have also been identified for parking.
Patna: These days Saras Mela is going on in Gandhi Maidan of capital Patna. This fair will be held till 28th December. A huge crowd of people is gathering in the fair. Last weekend the crowd became so huge that traffic on the surrounding roads came to a complete standstill. Vehicles kept moving for hours and people remained stranded on the roads. The police had to put in a lot of effort to clear the traffic jam.
Traffic police issued special plan
Taking a lesson from this, Patna Traffic Police has issued a special traffic plan for this weekend and next weekend. Under this, movement of common people has been restricted on many roads. Separate places have also been identified for parking. The traffic police has appealed to the common people to follow the rules and traffic plan issued before leaving home.
Changes in Patna traffic on weekends
According to the information issued by the Superintendent of Traffic Police, these changes have been made for 20 to 21 December and 27 to 28 December from 12 noon to 8 pm. According to the information, many important changes have been made in the traffic in Gandhi Maidan and surrounding areas.
Trains will operate like this
According to the traffic police, three-wheelers coming from Ashok Rajpath towards Gandhi Maidan will be diverted back towards Ashok Rajpath from near the double decker. Under no circumstances will three wheelers be allowed to park at Kargil Chowk. At the same time, all the buses coming from Kargil Chowk will operate via Exhibition Road.
Orders for Auto and E-Rickshaw
Autos and e-rickshaws going towards the station from Kargil Chowk will have to go to the station via Buddha Marg via Ramgoolam Chowk, Exhibition Road or SP Verma Road. Movement of three wheelers from JP Golambar towards Chhajjubagh will be completely banned.
Space marked for parking
Vehicles coming from Ganga Pathway will be made one-way and sent towards Kargil Chowk via Children Park. Whereas vehicles will not ply from Kargil Chowk towards Children Park. The vehicles of people coming to see Saras Mela will enter from Gate No. 12 and will be parked in the vacant space in front of Gate No. 10. While leaving, you will have to use gate number 10.
Parking banned around Gandhi Maidan
Apart from this, parking of vehicles will be completely banned around Gandhi Maidan. At the same time, entry of handcarts and footpath vendors has also been banned on Gandhi Maidan and surrounding roads from 12 noon to 8 pm.
