Big announcement regarding Kumbh Mela to be held in Uttarakhand, when and how many royal baths will be held

Haridwar: Kumbh Mela, which is going to be organized in Haridwar, Uttarakhand in 2027, is going to be grand and divine. Its preparation has also started now. In the Akhara meeting held in Haridwar on Friday in the presence of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, not only an announcement regarding this was made but the dates of the royal bath were also announced. The saints seem excited by the announcement of Chief Minister Dhami. Ardh Kumbh Mela is to be organized in Haridwar in the year 2027. The government was already preparing for it as a full-fledged Kumbh event. There was confusion regarding whether this fair would be organized as Ardh Kumbh or as Purna Kumbh with royal bath and Peshwai.

There will be a total of 4 royal baths in Kumbh
When the Chief Minister, who was among the sages and saints in the religious city of Haridwar on Friday, made the official announcement of the grand event of Kumbh, the sages and saints also came in support. There will be a total of 10 baths in the fair in 2027, in which the traditional 4 royal baths will also be organised. Representatives of all the 13 Akhara saints were present in this meeting of saints and sages with the Chief Minister. When Chief Minister Dhami announced the dates of the royal baths, chants of Har Har Mahadev echoed in the entire pandal.

Will remove the wrestlers from the Akharas with hands and horses
Saints say that the government is asking for every possible support to organize the Kumbh as a full-fledged Kumbh. So the saints will also set up camps in the fair in 2027 and all the traditions of the fair will be followed. Saints say that elephants and horses will take out the peshwas of the akharas and royal baths will also take place on the scheduled date. The clouds of confusion regarding Kumbh have now dissipated, where the government is busy making preparations at many levels to make Kumbh a success. At the same time, sages and saints are also looking excited about earning the virtue of Haridwar Kumbh Mela along with Nashik Kumbh Mela.

Kumbh will last for about 107 days
According to media reports, Khela Snan will take place on 14 January 2027, on the day of Makar Sankranti. The Kumbh Mela, which started from January 17, will end on April 30. There will be a total of 10 nectar baths in this Kumbh which will last for about 107 days. The first Shahi Amrit Snan will start from March and will continue till April. The Shahi Snan will conclude on Chaitra Purnima on 20 April 2027.

20 April 2027- Chaitra Purnima
Apart from this, Nav Samvatsar on 7th April and Ram Navami on 15th April are also included.
