The company said on Friday that all eligible persons above 18 years of age for vaccination in Delhi-NCR can once again avail its bike taxi service free of cost. The company said in a statement that 10 thousand free ride services were provided between March 31 and April 11 in the first phase of this campaign called ‘Ride to Vaccinate’.

Rapido said that under the second phase of this campaign, free rides will be provided to the nearest vaccination center out of the designated 18 hospitals in Delhi-NCR. This campaign will run from June 10 to June 23.Only 20 percent of the country’s population has its own vehicle.
Arvind Sanka, Co-Founder, Rapido, said at the launch of the second phase of the programme, “We understand the need for safe and economical movement during the current times. Only 20 percent of the country’s population has its own vehicles. In this context, it becomes important for everyone to have safe and cost-effective transportation to get the vaccine. Through ‘Ride to Vaccinate’, we are trying to remove the barrier of movement of citizens.
Now only 3,922 corona infected patients in Delhi, 238 cases in 24 hours
Significantly, the number of corona infected patients in Delhi is now decreasing very rapidly. On Friday, less than 250 patients were recorded in the last 24 hours.
